Staying warm while preparing your Thanksgiving meal is essential, so we suggest getting things started early with some warm cocktails.

Nutella Hot Cocoa (great for kids, or add a splash of whiskey for the adults!)

Thanksgiving side dishes

Sides

We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again, Thanksgiving is all about the sides.

Coconut Butternut Squash
Miso Scallion Sweet Potatoes

Grilled tempeh and a pumpkin

The Main Event

If your conscious will allow it, we suggest ditching the turkey and going for one of these – far more manageable main dishes. Your sanity will thank you later.

Sweet & Savory Maple Soy Tempeh
Campfire Roasted Pumpkin Rice

A skillet with apple crisp and a poached pear

Desserts

The coup de grace of Thanksgiving. Add something sweet to the end of the evening and you’ll be ready to crawl in your sleeping bag the moment the dishes are done.
