Find the perfect gift for the outdoor-loving woman in your life! We’ve collected the best gift ideas for outdoorsy women that will get her excited for her next trip outdoors.
If there’s an outdoorsy woman in your life—the type that would rather hit the trail than the nail salon or jump in an alpine lake instead of lay on the beach at a resort—then this outdoor gift guide is for you!
As an outdoors-loving gal myself, I’ve put this list together to help you find the perfect gift that she will be excited to receive. This gift guide has everything from stylish yet functional outdoor clothing, hiking gear, camping equipment, road trip essentials, gadgets, and games.
Best outdoor gifts for her
AllTrails Pro
This is one of our go-to hiking apps for finding new hikes and helping us navigate on the trail. Buying an AllTrails Pro subscription is a great gift idea because it gives you the ability to use the GPS function that is built into your smartphone to allow you to navigate even when you have zero services, AND to print paper maps based on your route. In addition, the Pro subscription gives access to LifeLine, which allows up to five emergency contacts access to your real-time location against your plotted route, and will alert them if you’re overdue on a hike. Overall it’s an excellent app for hikers to find, plan, and stay safe on the trail!
Nomadix Quick Dry Towel
The Nomadix quick drying towels are great to have on camping trips, or to roll up and carry on a hike in case there is a lake to jump into! We love that these towels are made of recycled water bottles, and they come in a bunch of fun National Parks designs.
Camping Slippers
I hate having cold feet while we’re camping (or any time!), which is why a pair of cozy slippers with sturdy soles are a must at the campsite.
Pendleton Yakima Camp Blanket
I received a Pendleton blanket a few years back and it has accompanied me on many camping trips since. The Yakima Camp Blanket is made from a wool-cotton blend, so it carries the warmth of wool while still feeling soft.
Vuori Halo Hoodie
This hoodie is absolutely AMAZING. The buttery soft, moisture-wicking, breathable fabric is a dream to wear (I’ve basically lived in it since buying this). This pullover is a perfect mid-layer for shoulder-season day hikes.

Products can be nice, but meaningful experiences will last a lifetime. Give the gift of an entire year of adventure that she’ll remember for years to come with the America the Beautiful (National Parks) Pass. Just one pass gets you into every National Park & Monument, as well as National Forests, Grasslands, and plenty of other recreation sites across the country.
Blundstone Chelsea Boots
These rugged-yet-comfortable Blundstone Chelsea boots can take a beating around camp and still look great walking around town. They also make an insulated version which I personally own and love.
Eddie Bauer Crossover Winter Trail Leggings
These are my go-to leggings for winter hiking! They are slightly thicker than your typical yoga-style leggings while maintaining great stretch and range of motion. Best of all, the insides are lined with brushed fleece, so they feel extra cozy.
Patagonia Better Sweater Quarter Zip
This cozy pullover is stylish enough to wear around town, while still being totally functional to wear at a campsite. It’s made of recycled materials and is Fair Trade Certified.
USB Camp Lights
Strung up in the trees around the campfire, over the picnic table, or in the tent, these LED twinkle lights are a super fun gift that will brighten up her next camping trip.
Cotopaxi Fuego Down Vest
The Fuego Down Vest from Cotopaxi is made with 800 fill RDS water-resistant down and has a DWR coating so it’s a great layer for all sorts of cool weather adventures. I love the fun color blocking, too!
Deuter Speed Lite 23L Women’s Daypack
This durable Deuter daypack is perfect for women who enjoy hiking! The main compartment has plenty of room for extra layers, snacks, and a hydration reservoir, a structured hip belt (with pockets!) helps carry the load, and the ventilated back panel helps with breathability.
Peak Design Capture Camera Clip
A great gift for a shutterbug, this clever camera clip attaches your camera to any backpack strap so that it remains accessible and easy to carry on hikes.

Sunski Type 1 Fun Sling Pack
On short excursions where a full daypack isn’t needed, Sunski’s new Type 1 Fun Sling is great for storing keys, a wallet, snacks, and other small essentials. Four internal pockets help keep things organized, and the front pocket even has extra microfiber padding for storing sunglasses. We love that it’s made out of recycled polyester fabric!

Bandanas are one of those items that come in handy in SO many ways in the outdoors. We love the rugged yet feminine desert-inspired design of this bandana made by The Landmark Project.

Wool Hiking Socks
Help keep her feet happy with a pair of wool hiking socks! There are a ton of options, but FITS and Darn Tough (pictured) are our recommended brands. FITS are the most comfortable, but Darn Tough has an awesome lifetime guarantee (and yes, we’ve tested it out a few times!)
Food Dehydrator
A dehydrator would be an awesome gift for anyone who is interested in making their own backpacking/camping food, jerkies, and fruit leathers.
Our favorite mid-range dehydrator is this stainless steel Cosori with 6 trays. If you have a larger gifting budget and your recipient would appreciate something that takes up less space, this folding dehydrator from Brod & Taylor (pictured) has a great space saving design and is one of our top picks.
