Fresh From Our Fall Campout!
Hello friend!
We got out for a quick camping trip near Hood River last weekend, and it was such a great reminder of why fall camping is our favorite. Crisp air, a quiet campground, and fall colors popping up all around!
We also got a refresher on packing for shoulder season trips, and came back with some new tips for camping with kids. It inspired us to update our fall camping guide with fresh advice and family-friendly additions.
👉 Plan a Fall Camping Trip (that actually feels fun!)
Here are some of the things mentioned in the video:
- Our fave 1-person insulated mats (we’ve used these for five years now and still love them)
- Our pick for a 2-person insulated mattress (the one we own has been discontinued; if we were a buying a new one this is what we would get!)
- Homemade snack ideas: Maple Glazed Trail Mix, Sweet & Spicy Trail Mix, GORP, Campfire Popcorn,
- Battery operated twinkle lights
If you’ve been on a fall camping trip recently, we’d love to hear your take on the experience. Come share in the comments!
Happy camping!
Megan & Michael
