Not only does this trail mix taste better than most store-bought brands, but it’s way cheaper too! Similar in texture to a deconstructed KIND bar, this oven-baked mix features maple glazed nuts, tart dried cherries, and dark chocolate chips.
Ingredients
½cupraw almonds
½cupraw pecan halves
⅓cupunsweetened coconut chips
¼cuppepitashulled pumpkin seeds
3tablespoonsmaple syrup
⅛teaspoonsea salt
¼cupchocolate chips
¼cupdried cherries
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300F.
In a medium bowl, mix the almonds, pecans, coconut chips, pepitas, maple syrup, and salt. Stir to evenly coat.
Spread the mixture on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Transfer trail mix to a clean bowl and add the chocolate chips and cherries.
Store in an airtight container.

STORAGE TIPS
This trail mix will store for several days in an air-tight container at room temperature (longer if kept in the fridge). Once we’re done making a batch, we like to store them in individual portions in a reusable baggie - these ones from (Re)Zip are perfect, or we’ll use a small Stasher bag. You could also store the whole batch in a tupperware container.
