How to Make Beef Jerky

Follow this step by step beef jerky recipe to make your own jerky, just the way you like it!

Slice the meat 1/4" thick and gently pound it to help even out the thickness and tenderize it.

1

Pour marinade (see recipe for ingredients) into a zip top bag with the meat and marinate for 12-36 hours in the fridge.

2

Place the slices of beef onto dehydrator trays, making sure none of the pieces overlap.

3

Dehydrate at 165F for 4-6 hours until completely dry. Dried jerky should crack but not break when bent.

4

Store in an airtight container for up to a few weeks (or, 3-6 in the fridge and up to a year in the freezer).
