How to Make Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Follow this step by step Chocolate Chip Pancake recipe for an easy breakfast kids and adults will love.

Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) together in a bowl.


Whisk the egg and milk together in a large bowl.


Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir to combine. Some lumps are ok -- over mixing will result in tough pancakes!


Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.


Scoop 1/4 cup batter and drop it onto a hot, well oiled pan. Cook 2-3 minutes on the first side until golden and then flip to cook the second side until golden.


To serve, stack and top with your favorite toppings--we love maple syrup, strawberries, and sometimes even a dollop of whipped cream!
