How to Make Apple Pancakes

Follow this Apple Pancake recipe for an easy breakfast perfect for cozy autumn mornings!

Whisk the egg, milk, and apple cider together in a large bowl.

Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and shredded apple to the bowl.

Stir to combine. Some lumps are ok -- over mixing will result in tough pancakes!

Scoop 1/4 cup batter and drop it onto a hot, well oiled pan. Cook 2-3 minutes on the first side until golden and then flip to cook the second side until golden.

While the pancakes are cooking, use a second skillet to melt butter. Add chopped apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir to coat the apples, then saute for a few minutes soft.

To serve, stack and top with the sauteed apples, maple syrup, and butter!
